Origin

The flower of the cornflower with its calyx we use for our products is from certified organic farming and comes from Germany. Extracts are produced from dried flowers with organic alcohol.

Although cornflowers were known as an old-established cure they used to be regarded as weeds and were thus eradicated.

Effect

Cornflower extracts have an astringent, anti-inflammatory and toning effect which makes them an important ingredient in skin balancing natural-cosmetic formulas. In lavera Natural Cosmetics cornflower extracts are contained in HAIR anti-dandruff shampoos.
